Anissa Campbell
Anissa Campbell was a five-time state champion in track and field for Ironton High School. Campbell won three consecutive state championships in the 100 meters (1992, 93, 94). She was also state champion in the 200 meters and the 400 meter relay (1994). Campbell was the state record holder in the 100m dash from 1993 until 2004 (11.86 fat). Campbell is still a school record holder in three events from 1992 until 2007 (100m, 200m, 400m Relay). Campbell was the Midwest Meet of Champions 100 meter dash winner in 1994 (11.81 fat). Campbell ran a personal best time of 11.62 in 1998 at the University of Tennessee. Campbell was a two-time All-American at the University of Tennessee in track and field in 1996 and 1997.
Justin Collins
Justin Collins was two time individual state golf champion for Ironton High School. Collins was a four-time first team All-State performer in golf. He was the leading member of three Ohio High School State Champion golf teams for Ironton High School (1995, 96, 97). Collins was also selected as a high school All-American in golf his senior year. Collins was the only person other than Jack Nicklaus to win three consecutive Ohio junior championships. Became a standout at The Ohio State University after accepting the Jack Nicklaus Scholarship.
